7th May 2005 Windsurfing: treco porthcawl Wind Direction: nw Wind Stength: 17mph Surf / Sea State: small waves Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: minardi pa Distance Covered: not a lot gave treco a go today didnt look like any chance of the sun turning into another knap day . Joined by about 12 others also thinking the same , wind was up/down like a yoyo , few guys washed around the point for a " walk of shame " back from newton , Nick the fish holed a sail and left early , Swansea dan having a nightmare day - filled car with petrol instead of diesel , got washed around point twice and damaged nose on board , So although i sailed from about 11.30 - 3.30 it wasnt great , staying upwind againt the tide was a major battle esp if you rode the wave downwind when coming back . Some guys on bigger kit going well but only had the wave board ! gee i miss me old van always had everthing with you . |
